A really warm (literally) hello from Qatar. I landed safe and sound in Doha and my journey was without any complications, which is not usual for me when I travel :D I met Fabian and Alex on the connection flight to Doha, so luckily I was not alone :) In Doha, the driver from Stenden Qatar picked us up with a pick up truck (the one in the foto below) and brought us to the compound next to school. The temperature outside was around 43°C with a high humidity. Let me describe it like this :D after 2 seconds outside my clothes were all full of sweat and I could hardly breath :D And the wind feels like the air, which comes out of the oven when you open it after baking or cooking something in it, wonderful huh!?:D
Stenden Qatar is very small in comparison to our school in Leeuwarden. There are less students and teachers so therefore, everyone knows everybody which gives us a feeling of a family here. We have a small library here and some class rooms and also some computers.

Our compound is right next to school, so we just have to walk over the street into our neighborhood and we are in our apartment.
The apartment has two bedrooms two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. I share the apartment with two other girls, Julia and Angela. We have plenty of space and it is very comfortable here. We even have a washing machine in the kitchen.
I have a room for myself with a big bed and a big closet for my clothes :) and a bathroom with bath tub for my own.

In our apartement are of course only girls allowed. The boys have their own apartment next to us. It is perfect that we are so close to school, so we only need 3 minutes to walk there.
In our neighborhood is also a gym, pool and a tennis court which everybody can use for free.
